I love Cracker Barrel. I live in Anderson, and today me and family went for late lunch since it's new to Lavonia. We were seated fairly quickly. The waiter didn't know what she was doing. It took us a little while (longer than I expected) to get our food - I understand we were a party of 7. First strike - She asked if we wanted biscuits or cornbread instead of bringing them out. Second strike - asked if anyone needed drink refills, that for me wasn't cool and affected her tip. Thirdly - I had to ask for drink refills for my mom. I tip good but if you can't keep my drink or others drink refilled properly then that will affect how and if I tip you. I hope this places steps it's game up. The food was pretty good.
Stopped by to get a quick breakfast on our way back from visiting family from out of town. Horrible mistake. It took an hour to get some eggs and ham. Literally, and hour. The server was great, but the management, not so much. Seems as though the managers need some training. We would have been home by the time we actually started eating.
Very disappointing experience! Wife and I took my daughter and children in September. Wait was over an hour for food with no bread served and no refills on beverages. Other tables also were enduring the wait! Manager appeared earlier during our wait and made made small talk with kids! Upon paying cashier did not even asked," how was everything?". Hope thing change was looking forward to this restaurant in Lavonia!
We have been several time and love going for breakfast or a late dinner. My young boys love to go because they can get pancakes and bacon any time of the day. We have always received great service and good food.
Best Cracker Barrel I've ever been in. Brighter walls feel better. Bus of people pulled up and you couldn't tell it. Staff handled it great. Food was great, service was great even when it got busy, and no one seemed in a panic because it got busy. They just did their job and did it well.
