Snack bar is open very early, and run by some very sweet older Aunties. However, do know that if you come with attitude/don't-you-know-what-rank-I-am/etc., they will give you attitude right back (have seen some people who seemed to feel "entitled" do that, and they were not happy with the outcome). Definitely order the pancakes. They are off menu so you have to ask if they will make it, but at about a dollar for two huge dinner-plate sized pancakes, it can't be beat. Everything is made to order, so do expect a small wait. Hang out close to the counter. The ladies will try to call you when your order is ready, but it's a bowling alley--it is loud. Refillable drinks for about a dollar to refill. In the morning, place is filled with old-time retirees, some school groups, and a few soldiers eating breakfast. Nice and casual.

7lb balls are the smallest, so if you have very small kiddos be prepared to help them lift the ball. Cosmic Bowling available. Parties and kids packages available too. Opens super early.
Very reasonable prices, especially for civilian rates. You do need military ID or sponsorship to get on to this closed Post, however. Down a star for difficulty to get on post if you aren't military.
Bathrooms on site are very clean. Very family-oriented.
** Snack bar will be closed for renovations starting January 3rd, reopening in February. Auntie there said there will be sandwiches and a few things, but not the full-service snack bar people have come to expect there. Renovations should be extensive, so when they reopen, make sure to visit.**
Don't wanna bowl? No problem. Free WiFi. Air-conditioned. And the library and gym is right next door. Safe place.
